Strong in Grace

Therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Many times in the day to day moments of life, I forget that I am offered grace freely from Jesus through the Spirit of God. As I picture Paul coming alongside Timothy in perhaps a moment of frustration, I can’t help but imagine the gentleness and nurturing demeanor that Paul had toward his young apprentice. His care ran deep for him and I can imagine he longed to encourage Timothy to reach for the divine assistance that is offered by Christ.
