Unity With Other Christians

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. - Ephesians 4:4-6

There are so many other Christians that we disagree with, dislike, and even try to work against. And yet God says we’re one body, having the same faith and the same God. How do you manage the tension of loving God but not loving God’s people - especially when God claims us all as children?

Take some time to pray blessings over Christians you don’t like - whether by name if they are individuals or by group. If you struggle to know what to pray, perhaps you could try praying the verses just before this, where Paul is praying for the Ephesians:

Pray that they may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ (Ephesians 3:18).
