We All Stumble
As we’ve thought about the question this week, “Who speaks for God?” it might be good to end with a simple reminder from an artist and author:
Everyone is screwed up, broken, clingy, and scared, even the people who seem to have it more or less together. They are much more like you than you would believe. So try not to compare your insides to their outsides. - Anne Lamott
Kind of sounds like scripture when the apostle James writes, “We all stumble in many ways” (James 3:2).
How might these words bring you comfort, encouragement and clarity this day?
