To Start Your Week

You are my son, whom I love - with you I am well pleased.
     - God the Father to Jesus the Son, Mark 1:11

Before you jump into your life this week, meditate on this truth. These are not just words that the Father speaks over Jesus.  For all of those baptized into Christ, these are words for you, too (Galatians 3:27).

These words are YOUR blessing. The God of the universe, the creator of all things, the Almighty looks at you and calls you his child. He sees you as his beloved. And as he examines you today he finds great pleasure.
